This week's news - 15th December

It's the last week of term, which means it's nearly Christmas!

It is reward trips tonight - have fun if you are going to the Ice Rink or the Trafford Centre.

We also have the year 7 MFL Nativity plays. The year 7s have worked really hard on this with Miss Radcliffe, so it should be a great show.

We also have the carol concert on Thursday afternoon and Tuesday evening, so tune up those voices.

Don't forget we finish at 1pm on Friday so that your Christmas can begin! Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This week's news - Monday 8th December

It is Year 9 Respect Day on Monday this week, so Year 9 have an exciting day ahead!

Year 11 are on mock exams all week; a packed week of revision and exams for them...

Friday is Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children - it's for a good cause so bring us your £1 and get the Rudolph jumpers and the tinsel out!

GCSE POD NEWS!

At Parklands we have invested in an exciting new revision resource for all year 10 and year 11 students. GCSE pod is an on-line library containing hundreds of exam specific revision podcasts, all available to stream or download to your device.

All KS4 students are already registered - all you need to do is visit www.gcsepod.com, activate your account, and get revising!

This week's news - Monday 1st December

This week is another busy week! Of course, you all opened the first window on your advent calendar today, but what else is happening?

The Student Leadership team are holding an assembly on Monday for the whole school.

Year 10 and Year 11 have an assembly on Tuesday morning introducing an exciting new revision tool - GCSE pod. It should make revision just a little bit easier!

This is also the final week of the #proudofmyselfie House Competition. So far, it is a tight battle between South America and Asia for the top spot. Europe are currently third, followed by Africa, with Australasia right at the bottom. Show us some pride!

This week's news - Monday 17th November

It was great to see everyone in non-uniform for Children in Need, and we have raised nearly £800! Thank you to everyone who donated. Back to normal this week though...

Some of the Digital Ambassadors will be attending the teacher TILT groups this week, so look out for more technology in your lessons!

It's the Remembrance Assembly on Monday afternoon - we're looking forward to seeing some cadets in action and hearing from the Battlefields students!

Year 11 - remember Future Aspirations is Thursday and Friday this week.

It's also Presentation Evening for last year's Year 11s on Thursday night - it will be you soon! Congratulations to them all!
